This week on Lake Okeechobee the winds have been from the South / Southeast 5 – 15 mph most of the week. The water temp is still in the low 70’s even after the small front that came in on Friday and the water clarity around the lake is good.
The best bite is with Shiners for numbers and size. On the artificial side topwater and casting a worm on the grass flats have been doing pretty good. Good areas to fish are Little Grassy, Kings Bar, Tin House and the Lake Port area of the Lake. Here is a picture of a couple of fish caught this week.
