The past 2 weeks on Lake Okeechobee with the full moon has been awesome. but now we have a cold front on top of us. The winds have been lite and from the East most of the time and the water clarity has been good in the areas I have been fishing. The water temps have been in the low 70,s and they are pulling some water on the lake and the lake level is just about 13 feet so you need to watch were you are going around the lake.
The best baits before the front was top water and Senko you could go almost anywhere and catch them. Now with the front here it is shiners. The good areas to fish are Kings Bar, Grassy Island, The Pass and Tin House also the Lakeport area of the lake. You can check the water level of Lake Okeechobee at www.okeechobeejust4bass.com.
