This week on Lake Okeechobee the fishing has been very good. We have had some light winds from the South East to South West. The water temp was in the low 90’s and the water clarity was good throughout the lake. The best bite is still a White Swim Jig in the Kissimmee grass in the morning. After the morning bite is over, I have been flipping a jig and a big Senko in the Pencil Reeds.
Good areas to fish are J&S, Kings Bar, 3rd point and the Lakeport area of the lake. You also can check the water levels of Lake Okeechobee on my website www.okeechobeejust4bass.com. Here is a picture of a couple fish that I caught this week.
