This week on Lake Okeechobee The fishing has been good. The winds this week have been form the South/West up to 20 mph but the water clarity is good throughout the lake and the water temp is in the high 80’s. The best bite for me is still a White Swim Jig in the Kissimmee grass in the morning. After the morning bite is over I have been Flipping the Pencil Reeds with a brown jig.
Good areas to fish are J&S, Kings Bar, Tin House and the Lakeport area of the lake. You can check the water levels of Lake Okeechobee at www.okeechobeejust4bass.com. Here is a picture of a couple of fish I caught this week.
