This week on Lake Okeechobee we had to dodge the rain and the lake has come up. The water level is almost at 16ft. The big fish are showing up every day now and the water has cooled down some.
There is a pretty good topwater bite on the outside of the grass now and there’s also a good spinnerbait bite. As for me, I’m doing all the above up until 09:00 then I’m flipping the hydrilla mats with a craw worm. Here is a picture of some of my fish this week.
