This week on Lake Okeechobee it has been great. We had light winds and warm water throughout the week of the new moon.
The big fish are showing up every day and you can catch them in all kinds of ways. Topwater has been the way I have been catching them this week. Flipping the cattails has also been good, but the speed worm has caught the numbers and the big ones too. The best colors have been Junebug and Watermelon on a light weight. Here is a picture of my buddy Joe with some of the fish we caught this week.
