This week on Lake Okeechobee the winds have been light and the water temp is still in the low 90’s. The water clarity on the east side of the lake is not very good now, but the west side of the lake is pretty good.
The BEST BAIT for me right now in the morning is the Reaction Innovation Trixie Shark, color doesn’t matter.
After the morning bite is over try flipping around in the Pencil grass/Kissimmee grass, you still need a little of Pepper Grass in there too. Good areas to fish are Kings Bar, Grassy and Tin House. Here is a picture of Reno Gregoire Jr. with a Tarpon that he caught fishing with me this week.
