This week on Lake Okeechobee the winds have been from the south to south east and the water temp was from 83-90 degrees. The water has risen about a foot or so the last 2 weeks and with the summer in full swing, get on the water early and the bite is good until about 08:00.
After that it slows down, you can still catch a couple of fish but your best bet is to flip around with a jig for a good fish. You will only get a couple of bites but they will be good ones. You can check the water level at www.okeechobeejust4bass.com
