June 1-11, 2017 – Lake Okeechobee Bass Fishing Report

Weekly Bass Fishing Report For The Weeks Of June 1 – June 11, 2017
The last weeks on Lake Okeechobee the fishing has been pretty good we have just got a lot of rain and it has help the water level on the lake. The water level is 11.72 which is still low and you have to be careful of were you are running on the lake. The winds have been from the South/ West and the water clarity is good thru out the lake. The water temp is in the high 80,s now. The best bait this week was Topwater, and a Chatterbait in the Kissimmee grass in the morning. Then when the sun comes up cast around a Senko on the grass flats. Good areas to fish are J&S, Kissimmee River, 4th point and the Lakeport area of the lake. You can check the water level of Lake Okeechobee at www.okeechobeejust4bass.com. Here is a picture of a couple of fish I have caught this week.
