The last couple of weeks, it has been very hot. The water temperature is in the low 90’s and the winds have been form the Southeast or West. The water clarity is pretty good throughout the lake.
Right now, it is a morning bite with Spinnerbaits and Swim Jigs in the Kissimmee grass. This bite is over by 8:00 am, then you have to grind it out by Flip/pitch at every target you can see. Now I usually use a Jig but a Senko is getting more bites. Just use a light weight and fish every thing you see. The targets I have been fishing are Pencil Reeds (small tight clumps). Remember to drink a lot of water! Here is a picture of a couple of fish that I have caught this week.
