This week on Lake Okeechobee its has been pretty good. We have had south winds all week and it has really warmed up the water. It’s also made the water clarity pretty bad on the north end.
Right now there is a lot of fish on the outside edge of the grass line and the fish are pretty much going into a summer time pattern now. The best time to fish is sun up to mid morning and after that things slow down some. Best baits are spinnerbaits with white being the best color (there is a lot of shad in the grass line now and its all about the size of the spinnerbait blade) and a swim jig with a swim bait as a trailer.
