The past couple of weeks, the fishing has been good. The winds have been light so you can move around the lake. The water clarity has been good. There are some areas that contains algae, but you can catch some nice fish in it. Summer time patterns are here, water temps are from 86 in the morning to 92 by mid day.
The morning bite has been fishing Spinnerbaits, Swim Jigs and Chatterbaits. In the Kissimmee grass, Flipping/pitching the Pencil Reeds with Jigs and Senkos has been working good when the sun is high. The fish are spread out with all the high water due to the rain, so you have to move around some to find them. Good areas to fish are Kings Bar, Tin House, 4th point and Lakeport of the lake.
